22 Annual NIBES Meeting in Cracow

The changing landscape of modern digital age with current social, political and economic developments, impels Business Schools to explore new horizons and perspectives in students mobility programs. In response to these changes, NIBES (Network of International Business and Economic Schools, http://www.nibes.org/) goes beyond tradition borders to challenge new directions in Cracow, Poland, a city steeped in a long history of education, progress and discovery.

22 Annual NIBES Meeting in Cracow

22 Annual NIBES Meeting held this year in Cracow from July,3d to July, 6th 2018. Being  inspired by science representatives of 22 business and economic schools in 19 countries convene the brightest minds to identify—and look beyond—core foundations. The representatives of Institute MIRBIS, Julia Kuptsova, Vice-Rector for teaching and methodical work, and Maria Guseva, Head of International Projects, participated in the meeting. The participants strive to exchange best practices, take part in discussions in order to contribute to the future of business education, develop the opportunities for students to connect and to follow-up on the annual work plan.

The Network members provide support to students in the following areas:

  • innovative student exchanges
  • research, joint academic programs
  • field-based education (consulting projects, internships, field studies)
  • faculty exchanges
  • distance learning
  • executive education programs
  • international meetings to benchmark and discuss common problems and opportunities

Every year, thousands of business students engaged in NIBES activities travel around the globe to study a semester abroad, to do their researches or to take part in various international conferences. With these challenges, we understood that only responsibility of Business Schools will lead to the desired outcome and welcome all the international students for a spring semester 2019.
