MIRBIS Institute held a master class "Transformation of IT function into a service for internal customers" based on the experience of United Metallurgical Company (AO OMK)

During the master class, such topical issues were raised as the specifics of IT transformations management in industrial holdings, the creation of a culture of internal customer service from scratch, the "pitfalls" of transformation and their solution, the involvement of IT staff in the transformation, the results of the Project for business, departments and staff.

As an example, the participants were presented a real business case of transforming IT culture in the United Metallurgical Company- the leader of the Russian metallurgical market.

In today's world where constant changes give the key to new achievements in business development, transformation and changes in large organizations are often an insuperable barrier. This is due to the waves of resistance, rejection, opposition: both from the side of the one who is changed and from the side of business itself.

Now we know that changes can start with IT and then they can trigger the change of the whole business. It's amazing that the case of our speakers showed that, first of all, IT transformation is psychology, neuropsychology, work with culture and even a bit of biology, " said Svetlana Gerasimova, the head of the department of short-term programs of MIRBIS Business School.

The programme for the transformation of IT function is to be launched in MIRBIS in April 2018.
