The Rector of MIRBIS Institute discussed with German colleagues cooperation in educational wide scope projects

The Rector of MIRBIS Institute discussed with German colleagues cooperation in educational wide scope projects

The meeting of Rector of MIRBIS Institute M.N. Zhivaev, pro-rector of Academic and Methodical Work J.I. Kuptsova, Head of the International Department N.G. Pecheritsa and Head of Qualification Upgrading and Vocational retraining Department V.A. Zalko  with Dr. Kress Hannelore from the Federal Institute of Vocational Education (Bundesinstituts fur Berufsbildung) and Antje Wessels from the German Aerospace Center was dedicated to the development of Russian-German collaboration in the area of education.

During the negotiations, both sides discussed:

  • enhancement of opportunities for getting access to education including dual education;
  • coordination of interaction with German universities in the development of education;
  • improvement of international programs, elaboration and implementation of educational and scientific programmes along with German universities;
  • possibilities of sending students, faculty members and scientific workers to German universities;
  • special scholarships for students to study abroad, admission of German students, faculty members and scientific workers in Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS within the framework of the international exchange programmes;
  • participation in network form of the educational programmes implementation.

German colleagues paid special attention to conducting mutual scientific, fundamental and applied research in the area of education and to implementation of innovative activity.

N.G. Pecheritsa gave an introductory presentation for guests. The introduction of our university was so interesting for German colleagues that Dr. Kress Hannelore agreed to spread information about MIRBIS Institute among her German partners so that internship programmes for both Russian (Bachelors and Masters) and German students could be successfully fulfilled in the future.

Mrs. Kress was also impressed by Mirbis Institute's experience in implementing internship exchange programmes in cooperation with Hong Kong universities.

In its turn, Dr. Kress Hannelore told about peculiarities of professional education in Germany placing great emphasis on advantages of dual system.

Colleagues from Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS totally agreed with Mrs. Kress about her estimates of this format.

“Dual education system is an excellent opportunity for an enterprise to prepare staff taking specifications of its activity into consideration.  Training programmes meet the needs of a company as much as possible. Besides, an enterprise doesn’t need to spend money on the search and selection of employees, their re-training and adaptation.  Future specialists will definitely get a job in an enterprise after finishing their studies”, commented N.G. Pecheritsa.
