AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is an important and authoritative accrediting association for the assessment of education quality in business administration and management.

AACSB was established in 1916 in United States, the range of influence of AACSB has been significantly expanded until now.

The AACSB Accreditation Standards were first adopted in 1919.

In 1980 additional certification standards for postgraduate programs were developed taking into account characteristics of professional activities.

Afterwards, traditional standards were continuously revised, supplemented and improved for the most objective assessments of business schools.

Currently, the organization is involved in accreditation globally and there are more than 500 accepted business schools in its portfolio. Moreover, more than 1000 schools from 70 countries in the world have a membership of AACSB.
