European Diploma Supplement (EDS)

Moscow International Higher School of Business MIRBIS has the official right to grant a European Diploma Supplement to all MIRBIS graduates (specialist, bachelor, master, MBA) regardless of the year of graduation.

The European Diploma Supplement is a document developed in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Declaration on higher education and Order No. 40 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of February 15, 2005 (on implementing the provisions of the Bologna Declaration in the Russian higher education system). It provides information about a diploma holder, received qualification, studied subjects, coursework and dissertation, knowledge and competence assessment system, and also description of the Russian education system.


The EDS is a universal certificate on the level of education and the degree awarded, recognized by foreign universities and foreign companies at a job placement. The EDS is written in English.

The document is printed on a special letterheads designed and approved by UNESCO and the European Commission. Each form has two registration numbers: European - registration in the supplement registry, and Russian - assigned by MIRBIS. The forms are protected from forgery.
